Question: Bath throw rugs with crumbled backing - what to do with them?

3 green bathroom throw rugs I have some very practiced bathroom rugs - the only problem is the rubber non-skid backing which is crumbling. Does anyone know if at that place'southward a way to rejuvenate these? Can the bankroll be removed in some way and a new one sprayed on? I as well thought perhaps I could sew fabric on the dorsum but don't know how much trouble that would be.

I hate to throw these away equally the top (rug) side looks like new. Whatever assist would exist profoundly appreciated!!

What do you do with rugs that are nonetheless very useable, merely the backing is coming off? I have tried to remove it by washing, but made the biggest mess in my washroom and all of the backing did not come off. Thank you in advance for any assist.
